Latin America: A Large and Multifaceted Geographical Region

Latin America and the Caribbean, a large and diverse geographical area is one of the most active practices of the Centennial Group, carried out chiefly through the Centennial Group Latin America (CGLA) and Centennial Group International (both based in Washington, DC).

The practice focuses on both short-term issues, linked to macroeconomic performance, growth and indebtedness, and long-term issues, related to productivity aspects, savings and investment, macroeconomic sustainability, debt, education, governance and associated aspects of economic analysis. The Centennial Group carries out this work on the basis of specialized and cross-sectoral expertise, long-term relationship with the IMF, World Bank, and the Inter-American Development Bank, and close association with CAF, the Development Bank of Latin America, and use of Centennial’s large database and proprietary econometric models.

CGLA has cooperated with financial companies, business groups and think tanks around the world, as well as with academics and the media. Both the Partners and their associates are characterized by their broad professional experience and deep knowledge of the region, including with regard to economic, political and social developments.
