Infrastructure Strategies that Accelerate Economic Progress

Infrastructure and transport form a critical foundation for the growth of emerging economies and are key to ensuring countries are connected to the global markets and value chains. It also has been a core area of development focus for the Centennial Group since its inception 16 years ago.

We offer high-level experience and contacts in formulating strategies and policies to develop infrastructure in emerging markets. Our work is particularly geared to issues related to private sector participation in all major infrastructure sectors (transport, power, water supply and sanitation, etc.), infrastructure funds and project financing, and urban and municipal development policy, with a specialty in local government finance.

Our Infrastructure and Transport Expertise

We take a holistic view of infrastructure development, providing services that include:

  • Overall planning, strategies and policies to accelerate infrastructure development at the national and sub-national level.
  • Design of financing mechanisms (e.g. debt and quasi-debt funds) for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Formulation of strategies and programs to accelerate private infrastructure investments.
  • Formulation of new institutional approaches and strategies to support development of transport, power, water and telecommunications sectors.
  • Assessments of state- and municipal-level infrastructure programs.
  • Assessments for private companies interested in investing outside their home countries, and assistance in identifying and negotiating with potential strategic partners to enter new markets.
